This is not necessarily animosity, but rather a recognition of the challenges and complexities that come with treating individuals who struggle with alcohol addiction. Paramedics are trained to provide nonjudgmental care to all patients, including those who are alcoholics, and their primary focus is on providing medical assistance and support in a compassionate manner. It is important for paramedics to approach each patient with empathy and understanding, regardless of their circumstances. **

The animosity between the fire department and the THW (Technisches Hilfswerk) in Germany can be traced back to historical and organizational differences. The fire department is responsible for firefighting and rescue operations, while the THW is focused on technical and logistical support during natural disasters and emergencies. This division of responsibilities has led to competition and overlapping roles, creating tension between the two organizations. Additionally, there may be issues related to jurisdiction, funding, and differing organizational cultures that contribute to the animosity between the fire department and the THW. **
