It is widely known that Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on the moon, had expressed his desire to be the first person to set foot on the lunar surface. However, the decision was made by NASA to have Neil Armstrong take that historic step. Despite this, Aldrin has always been proud of his role in the Apollo 11 mission and has been a strong advocate for space exploration and scientific advancement. While he may have initially wanted to be the first, he has embraced his place in history and continues to contribute to the space community. **

Backpacking often requires a higher level of physical fitness, outdoor skills, and self-sufficiency compared to traditional camping. It can be a challenging and rewarding way to experience the wilderness in a more immersive and adventurous way. **
