Yes, there is a form of extreme hiking camping known as backpacking or wilderness camping. This type of camping involves carrying all necessary gear and supplies on your back and hiking long distances to remote and rugged locations. Backpacking often requires a higher level of physical fitness, outdoor skills, and self-sufficiency compared to traditional camping. It can be a challenging and rewarding way to experience the wilderness in a more immersive and adventurous way. **

The size of a backpack for 5 days of camping will depend on the individual's needs and preferences. However, a good rule of thumb is to look for a backpack with a capacity of around 50-70 liters. This size should provide enough space to pack clothing, food, cooking supplies, a sleeping bag, and other essentials for a 5-day camping trip. It's important to consider the weight of the backpack when fully packed, as it should be manageable for the individual to carry comfortably for long periods of time. **

There are several potential reasons why your foot may be numb after hiking for 2 days. It could be due to nerve compression or irritation from repetitive motion or pressure on the foot during the hike. It's also possible that you may have sustained a minor injury or developed inflammation in the foot, leading to numbness. Additionally, poor footwear or improper hiking technique could contribute to the numbness. If the numbness persists, it's important to consult a healthcare professional to determine the underlying cause and receive appropriate treatment. **

To keep your food cool while camping for 5 days, you can use a combination of methods. One option is to invest in a high-quality cooler with thick insulation and a tight seal to keep ice from melting too quickly. You can also freeze items like meat and pre-made meals before packing them in the cooler to help them stay cold longer. Additionally, consider using frozen gel packs or blocks of ice to help maintain a low temperature inside the cooler. Finally, try to keep the cooler in a shaded area and avoid opening it frequently to help preserve the cold temperature. **
