In this version, players encounter a more advanced and challenging group of pillagers, who are hostile mobs that attack players and villagers. The Pillager 2 update introduces new features, mechanics, and items, providing players with an enhanced gaming experience. It offers players the opportunity to test their skills and strategize against tougher enemies in the game. **

Yes, you can capture a pillager outpost in Minecraft by defeating all the pillagers and their leader, the pillager captain. Once all the enemies are defeated, you can claim the outpost as your own and use it as a base or resource-gathering location. Be cautious, as pillagers may respawn in the outpost, so it's important to secure the area and light it up to prevent further enemy spawns. **

Pillager Totems drop on the farm when a Pillager raid is successfully defeated. The totems are a rare drop from the raid captain, which is a Pillager with a banner on its head. Players can increase their chances of obtaining a Pillager Totem by defeating multiple waves of Pillagers during the raid. **

No, there is not always a village nearby a pillager outpost. Pillager outposts can generate in any biome, and the presence of a village is not a requirement for their generation. While it is possible for a pillager outpost to generate near a village, it is not guaranteed. Players may encounter pillager outposts in various locations, regardless of the presence of a nearby village. **

One way to find a Pillager during a raid without using cheats is to listen for the sound of the raid horn, which signals the start of a raid. Once the raid begins, Pillagers will start spawning in the vicinity of the village under attack. Players can also look for the Pillagers' banners, which are a distinct red and black color, to locate their position. Additionally, players can follow the direction of the villagers' panic and running to find the Pillagers, as they will be heading towards the raiding enemies. **
